ENTERTAINMENTS.

LAST NIGHT OF "THE CONQUEROR" Well, what does your father want, for you?" are the words used by the Wall .street magnate to the society belle whose hand lie is to get in return for financial favors shown to her father. To the hardened man of millions the girl's reply is a great surprise, and he learns to respect a courage equal to his own. This is one of the striking scenes in "The Conqueror," •the powerful Triangle feature in which Willard Hack and Enid Markey are the co-stars at Everybody's. The pro* gramme also includes the third series of the clever "Bairnsfather's Cartoons." Intending patrons are reminded -that tonight will be the final screening. COMING TO-MORROW. ETHEL CLAYTON ,N "THE WOMAN BENEATH." The new attraction for to-morrow will be a AVorld film success, "The Woman Beneath," .starring Ethel Clayton. A story of married life in high society with a moral that a woman should not always be judged on appearance. The sixth episode of "The Girl and the Game," will also be shown with this programme. THE EMPIRE. ■ CHARMING VIOLA DANA IN "ALADDIN'S OTHER LAMP." Viola Dana charmed the hearts of it large audience at the Empire last night, in the fine Metro play, "Aladdin's Other Lamp." It is the story of u little boarding-house drudge who hears the story of Aladdin's Lamp, and finds a lamp for herself. The genie which emerges from her old lamp and who leads her to the gorgeous costume hall is a figure full of romance. The pathetic plight in which Patsy finds herself after she has clasped her hands in sheer delight at her surroundings, to suddenly discover herself in rags and tatters, very much like the familiar Cinderella, is full of appeal because Miss Dana performs with a sweetness and unassuming manner that is most realistic. However, the old lamp after all opens the way to happiness, for in it Patsy finds information as to who she really is. It is a delightful picture of smiles and tears. On the same programme there is the eighth episode of "Peg o' the Ring."
