MEDICAL BOARDS AM) DRAFTS. In view of the necessity for accelerating the despatch of men to, camp, a special medical hoard has been arranged to sit in llawera on Friday and Saturday, April -2C and 27, lor the examination of volunteers 19 and 20 years of '' age, and of reservists of Classes E, 0, and D, of the Second Division, and also of Class B (balloted men), o>ho are prepared, if fit, to proceed to camp with the 4'2nd Reinforcements on May 22. As it is particularly desired to increase the number of men proceeding to camp with_ the 42nd draft, voluntary recruiting is at present open only for that draft.. Any reservist desirous of offering his sendees under the conditions mentioned should 1 apply immediately to - the- group office, and he will then be called up {or examination. I n addition to any volunteers, there will be room for the examination of a few reservists , who will have been drawn i n the Class B ballot. Another sitting of the Medical Board for ballojted men will probably take place about the middle of May.
