HOLLAND.
QUARREL WITH GERMANY. AGREEMENT REPORTED TO BE REACHED. London, April 23. The Daily News says that the Foreign Office lias learnt that relations between Germany and Holland arc very strained as the result of the quarrel regarding the supply of gravel and sand by Holland to Germany. The situation is regarded with anxiety in official circles as Germany has delivered an ultimatum with a time limit. Amsterdam, April £.i. The Handelsblad states that a Gor-man-Dutch agreement has been reached regarding Dutch concessions covering the transit of sand, and gravel, the transport of various necessities not intended for military purposes by rail through Limburg, and a settlement regarding the Rhine river traffic.
