A NATIONAL REGISTER. ALIENS TO WORK ON FARMS. Received April 23, 7.15 p.m. Ottawa, April 22. The Government is preparing a register of every male and female in Canada between the ages of 16 and 60, in view of .the utilisation of their services for national purposes. A proposal is now being considered by the House of Commons that all -enemy aliens shall be compelled to work ,ob farms in order to increase production.
