As previously announced, two s«rvicee will be held simultaneously one at i very bod v's Iheatre and the other at the People's Picture Palace, at 2.30 p.m. At Everybody's the service will be conducted by the Rev. H. L. Richards, andHie address will be given by the Rev. V. G. Harvie. At the People's Picture Palace the Rev. A. C. Sievewright will conduct the service, the address being given by the Rov. O. Blundell. A special form of service is being, printed, which will be used at both halls. At Everybody's Theatre "the singing will /be led by an orchestra, the Citizen's Band, whic'h will lead the military procession from the Coronation Hall, will continue right on to the People's Palace and 'lead the singing at the service there. The A Company XI. (Taranaiki). Regiment will parade at the Coronation Hall at 1.50, where the Cadets will also parade at t'he same hoar. The Veterans will parade at the, Central Fire Station at 2.15, and the returned soldiers will meet at the club at 2 p.m.' The returned soldiers and veterans will attend tho service at Everybody's, the othei units being divided as directed by tha officer commanding the regiment. After the service the Returned Soldiers' Association will entertain the Veterans to tea at the club at 6 p.m., and, following that, a social and musical evening will be held. Questions arie being asked as to whether the day is a compulsory holiday. Although it ia optional for any business> to remain open as usual,' the Government has proclaimed the holiday in the hope that everyone throughout the Dominion will observe it as has been done in previous years.
