The Admiralty reports that British foreee in the Heligoland Bight on Saturday encountered the enemy light eruiiOT, who retired behind the minefield*. A f*w shots were exchanged at extreme range. An enemy destroyer W kit. All our'ships retained without cMualty. AMERICAN STEAMERS LOST. Washington, April 21. An American steamer of 4500 tons hag been suak by a submarine in European waters. \ Seventeen were saved out of a crew of 62. the American steamer Florence H. has been blown up in a French port. Thirtyfour were saved out of a crew of 75, It has now been leaned that the Florcum H. tank as the result of an internal explosion.
