PRICE OF WHEAT UNALTERED. Washington, April 19. The House of Representatives rejected the- Senate's proposal to increase the price of wheat to 250 cents (10a 3d) a bushel, and the price remains at 220 ceets (9s 2d).
THE MUSING CYCLOPS. Washington, April 1!)! Mrs. Woioley, wife of the captain o[ the Cyclops, says the vessel is safe in an American port- Officials do not confirm and do not credit the statement. "WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO BLUCHER?" New York, April lfl. The New York Times condemns General Maurice's expression, "What has happened to Bluoher?" as peevish and in bad taste, and adds that references to Waterloo are an unhappy parallel.
The Tribune refers to General Maurice's blundering expression, and expresses the hope that there will not be any repetition of it.
CLAIMS AND ESTIMATES. Washington, April 10. Official advices state that three enemy aeroplanes were brought down for every one of the Allies in the great offensive. Scores of Teuton planes are brought down daily.
The British War Office reports tliat the German Admiralty claims that suliinarii" 1 * sank twelve million tons of the world's Shipping in tlie past year. The British figures are six millions only. British military officials estimate that Germany etill has 840,000 fresh troops on the West front.

CONVERTING DOLLARS INTO BULLION. Washington, April 19. The Senate passed the Pittman Bill, authorising the melting of 350 million silver dollars into bullion in order to Settle trade balances in India and China.
