Diplomatic advices from Berne state that Prince Hohenlohe, Austrian Ambastador to Germany, is going to Vienna for • conference, presumably on account of the embarassing disclosures in Emperor Charles' peace letter to France.

Wireless German official: We repulsed strong attacks against Wytschaete. Our fire caused the heaviest losses while the attackers were assembling. Our in fan - try's thrust north-west of Bethune captured some guns. The fighting fluctuates at Festubert and Givencby. We prisonered over 600.
In a bitter struggle at Marisel and Moreuil we sanguinarily drove back strong French attacks. We occupied Tschaplinka and Melitpol, in Taurida.
Another German wireless message states that in view of the reports of the formation of revolutionary committees in war prisoners' camps by Russians, notably at Omsk, Tomsk and Ekagrinebulg, aiming at the equality of officers and men and the prevention of repatriation of prisoners, the German Government demands that the Russian Government shall immediately disarm the prisoners and take over the management of til camps, pending the arrival of the Sennan commission, also the separation of Germans from Austro-Hungarian prisoners, the reinstatement of officers, and the Russian occupation of the railway station at Omsk, in order to secure the free pasnge of prisoners from Siberia.
