ON THE SEA.
A DISASTROUS VOYAGE. Washington, April 18. News has been received at an Atlantic port that the Worknight, a British merchantman, and the 0. B. Jennings, an American ship, were in collision off the British coast. Both were laden with naphtha and the British vessel caught fire and 36 of the crew were burned to death. The vessel struck a mine and sank while being towed to safety. One American was killed.
