STRATFORD DAIRY COMPANY.

To- the Editor. Sir, —The attention of the directors has been drawn to a letter appearing in your issue of 16th instant, signed by "Stratford Shareholder," accusing the company of refusing to accept milk from some Eltham suppliers, who, at the beginning of this season, supplied milk to. this company's Robson Road creamery. The Robson Road suppliers elected to join the Eltham Company, eonsequently the Robson Road creamery was dismantled. On the 9th instant one of these ex-Stratford suppliers brought his. milk to the Skinner Road creamery (another of the company's branches), and liis milk was apcepted by the creamery manager, who approached the general manager during the day, asking if he was to continue receiving the milk. The general manager communicated with the chairman, who instructed the manager to accept the milk if the road was impassable. It has always been a rule of this company not to accept milk from suppliers to neighboring companies without a good reason being given. In this case the supplier's milk was accepted, although other suppliers on the same road were able to deliver their milk to the Eltham Company. For the directors of the Stratford Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited. W. FASTIER, I Secretary.
