REORGANISING' UNIONISM. Australian Cable Association.' , Sydney, April 19. The Labor Council has adopted a ne\l reorganisation scheme for unionism. Op» position was shown on the grounds that the scheme abolished craft unionism and left the control in the liands of the directors, practically making meetings of members unnecessary. The scheme has been sent to various unions for consideration.
The council decided to cable to Mr. Lloyd George a protest against conscrip, tion in Ireland.
PORT ICE MB LA REWARD WITHDRAWN. Melbourne, April 19. The Federal Government has withdrawn the rewards of "£SOOO and £2OOO respectively offered in connection with the sinking of the stetoers Port Kembla and Cumberland.
