PREPARED TOR IMPENDING ATTACKS .deceived April 19, 9.50 p.m. Ottawa, April 18At a secret session of the House of Jommona a message from Mr. Lloyd George was read, Btating that the Canadians were holding Lens and were prepared for tremendous forthcoming attacks. It was necessary to secure large reinforcements to make good the losses. The House decided to support the Gorernment in the full ueo of conscription to procure the largest forces poslible.
