OUR EASTERN FORCES. ESTIMATED AT 1,250,000 London, April 17. Colonel Kepington declares that Mr. Uoyd George's statement that there were only three white Division in Palestine and Egypt when the German offensive began is untrue. Colonel Repington reasserts that we were feeding 1,250,000 mouths in the three eastera theatres on March 21, costing an inconceivable price in lives, ships, money and resources.
THE USE OF RESERVES. HAS ANYTHING GONE WRONG? London, April IT. Tha Parliamentary owrwpendent of the Daily News says that there is a feeling among moderate Liberals that something has gone wrong at the front. There is a mystery regarding the use of Um reserves.
Liberals demand closer touch between the House of Commons and the Cabinet and insist on an explanation of conflicting Ministerial statements.
