In addition to the names published yesterday, the following Taranaki soldiers will also .return to New Zealand next month: B. Forrester (Mangaanngi) and L. H. Nelson (Kapuni). The Hawkes Bay Herald records the death, at the age of 102 years, of Mts. Susan Barry, of Port Ahuriri. Deceased had resided in Hawkes Bay for fortyseven years. In the latest hospital report the following Taranaki name 3 appear:—Severe cases: 'J. K. Campbell (Midhirst), Temp.Sergeant F. J. McKenna (Patea). Not severe cases: F. S. Grayling (New Plymouth), and F. T. Dodge (Stratford). . Word was received in Eltham on Wednesday of the death, through being kicked by a horse, of Mr. Ron. Payne, of the Waikato. Deceased was at one time a resident of Matapu, and was well known in Eltham and the district, where the news of his demise was received with regret. He leaves a wife and young family. The late Mr. Payne was a brother-in-law of Mrs. H. A. Blackstock; of Mangawhero Road.—Argus.

RaTcy Newell took a s<een interest in football and cricket, and was much esteemed by all his comrades on the playing field. General sympathy hag been expressed with his parents and relatives in their loss—another sacrifice in the great cause.
