MISS ADA REEVE. Uext Tuesday at the Opera House, Hawera, will signalise the first appearance in Taranaki of Miss Reeve, who is regarded as the world's best and most popular comedienne, and her own supporting company of vaudeville stars and a complete Englih Comedy Company, Interest in her Taranaki debut is keen, due to a large evtent to her unrivalled reputation as an artist, and to the fact that she has endeared herself to our soldiers in Egypt and London, and because of the vast amount of interest she has taken in looking after their comforts and providing them with •entertainment*, etc. Jt is said that from the moment she makes her appearance on tho stage. Miss Reeve instals herself in the affections of playgoers, and it is quite a common occurrence for her to be caiTed upon to deliver as many as a dozen of her popular numbers. Her songs, it is stated, are unique, ranging as they do from pathos to the very eccentric lnijnor. While Miss Reave is, of cour'o, the chief attrai tion, her supporting artists are in the front rank of vaudeville stars. Mr. Tallour Andrews charms his hearers with his delightful tenor voice, especially in the operatic numbers. Louis Nikola, amazing with magical problems and novel hand shadows. Harry Jacobs, the singing conductor, besides conduct ing the orchestra, uses his voice with pleasing ell'ecf; Lucia Linda portrays national dances in appropriate costumes; Rogero is simply marvellous with his mimicry of musical instruments. Kennedy Allen is a comedian who is really funny. The English Comedy Co., in,cludc Misses Georgia do Lara, Pegary Pcato, ami Messrs Aston Jnrry and John Grant, all of whom feature in a smart comedy entitled, "A Matter of Business.'
