RESPONSE TO BRITISH APPEAL. Simla, April 15. Mr. Lloyd George's appeal to India to redouble her efforts is meeting with the widest response. The entire press warmly supports the appeal. The Viceroy ha.s called a conference to discuss the matter. The authorities are actively employed 011 a scheme to increase the fighting force in Mesopotamia, which is now so well equipped that India is able to spare more material for other Near Eastern areas.
