OPPOSITION FROM TRADES UNIONS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April 15. A meeting attended by representatives of" 43 industrial unions this morning carried a resolution demanding the withdrawal of the clause in the Finance Bill providing for industrial conscription, stating that Labor lias carried its share of the war burden unflinchingly, and will oppose by every means in its power any attempt to further enrich private employers at the expense of wage earners.
