Mr. Norman Day (New Plymouth) scored an artistic triumph, his items creating considerable enthusiasm. Mr. Dunstan (New Plymouth) also met with a cohlial deception, and lmd to respond to encores. Mr. Frank Eanford (fbfratfard) added to his previous trihmpli, and had a "night out" in liis comedy work, and the audience were fain to lose him after ho had sung, recited, and cracked a few jokes. Mr. A 0. Sturrtiek was down for two pianoforte solos, but these were enlarged into fout, each solo requiring a repetition. Higham's Orchestra (Tlawera) opened both parts of the programme with very acceptable music, and made one wish Elthani could produce something similar. These items added to the variety of the programme and pleasuro of the audience, the latter fully endorsing Mr. (few's vot R of thanks to the performers who haul assisted-
