EVERYBODY'S. ALICE JOYCE IN "AN ALABASTER , BOX." Alice Joyce was see in a Greater Vitagraph triumph, "An Alabastpr Box," at Evcrybody'3 last night. The story tells of Lydia Bolton, who is only a child when financial difficulties overtake her father. His friends give him 110 support, and he goes to prison, an embezzler, cursed by everyone. Years after, when Lydia has grown to womanhood, she come 3 back, her identity hidden in the name of Lydia Orr, and from then on the story develops in an exceptionally interesting manner. The supports includa another of those clover and remarkably interesting cartoon pictures, "Bairnsfather's War Cartoons." The same programme will be repeated for the last time to-night. THE EMPPIRE. MABEL TALIAFERRO IX "THE JURY OF FATE." AND THE ■ "GOT AT PENDLETON ROUND-UP." Five acts of emotional story make up "The Jury of Fate." a startling drama that is being unfolded as the new feature at the Empire. ''The Jury of l'atc," i? another release from the Metro studios, and the interest of the tale that is told is much enhanced by the happy work of Mebal Taliaferro, who is the star. The story is neatly set, too, and some of Ihe incidental scenes are true gems of artistic photography. The second best of the new films is "Pendleton Round-up," a series of photographs of Western cowboys at work- The latest American Gazette brings top.cal interest to the entertainment, which sets before patrons a. widely-varied ran'je of interests. The new bill also includes tin* sixth episode of the exciting circus serial "Peg 0' the Ring '' The full programme will be repeated to-night.
MATINEE TO-MORROW. . A brilliant matinee programme has been arranged for the kiddies to-morrow when the principal picture will lie "The Pendleton Round-up," the sixth episode of "Peg 0' the Ring.'' a Mack Sehnett comedy "Those College Girls," an American Topical Gazette and another Keystone comedy.
