TARIKI. (From Our Own Correspondent). A wedding of unusual local interest, took place on the 3rd inst., when St. Philip's Church, which was prettily decorated for the occasion, was idled to overflowing, the contracting parties being Miss Maizie Eason and Mr. Owen Jones. The ceremony was solemnised by the vicar (Rev. E. ]',. ilarvio), the bride being given away by her father (Mr. 71. Kason). The' bride, who looked very sweet and carried a beautiful shower boijiicl_ of roses and maiden hair ferns, the gift of Miss Isabel Thcrkleson, was attended by Miss Margorie Pennington, and the Misses Maida and Ona Jones and Joyce dough, bridesmaids. The bride's dress was ivory crepe de chine, hand embroidered tunic, lined with shell pink silk bordered with pearls, embroidered ninon blouse, white veil pearls instead of orange blossoms, 'and a quaint antique gold brooch (gift Jof her great grandmother). Miss M. j Pennington's dress, champagne crepe de I,chine, hat to match, boquct Transvaal ; daisies, red poppies and maiden hair jfern; Misses Maida and Ona Jones and 'Joyce Clough. white, blue and pink crepe A> chine u-m-ie.nl mnlrroidered silk sprays.
