ROLL OF HONOR.
UNVEILING AT ST. AUBYN CHURCH.
At the morning service at St. Aubyn Methodist Church yesterday a roll of honor was unveiled to the memory of boys who have been identified with the church or snnday school, who have gone to the front. There was a large congregation. Suitable music was rendered, and an appropriate address was given by Missioner Souster, who, in asking Mr. Walter Ambury to unveil the memorial, referred to the work done by him as correspondent for the New Plymouth Circuit with the bow at the front.
Mr. Ambury, in performing the unveiling ceremony, impressed on the boys and girls present the high principles for which the Union Jack stood Kb then spoke of the men whose names were on the roll, nearly all of whom he had known a s children. Several had made the supreme sacrifice, while others had been wounded, but all had helped, in bringing honor to the Dominion. He hoped parents whose boys were away, and especially those whose boys had been killed, would be consoled by the knowledge that their loved ones were fighting for great principles.
