Considerable supplies of American bacon have arrived, also large quantities of Australion and Xew Zealand butter, cheese, meat and wool. Chilled beef, 110 supply On hand this week. Butter. —Market and prices are without change. Cheese. —Market is bare of supplies until next Government distribution. Hemp.—Manila and Xew Zealand hemp: in each' ease demand for spot is good, also to arrive if shipment has already been made. Business is at a standstill for forward shipment. Wheat. —Market quiet owing to the absence of offers. Oats.—Market steady at previous quotations.
