WEDDING BELLS.
WEBBER—SULLIVAN. A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Catholic Church, Stratford, on Tuesday morning, when Mr. Herbert Well!;; Stratford, and Miss Frances, the sccon (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. fcjulii',a of Stratford, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony. He v. lather Maples officiated The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a taffeta silk dress trimmed with georgette and real Irish lace, and wore tl> usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of orange blossoms and asparagus, and was attended by her sister, Miss E Sullivan, as bridesmaid, who wore a dress of chai mease silk and a crepe de chine bat. ) W. McAloon was best man; and two small sisters of the bride acted- as ilower girls, being attired in eharmeuse silk dresses and white mop caps. The Wedding March was played by Miss A- Fitzgerald. Later a large number of friends sat down to breakfast in Smith's Rooms, Broadway. There was a large array of useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Webber left for Wanganui per motor ear in the afternoon.
■BORNE—SCOTT. A quiet wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, the contracting parties being .Tames Hamilton, eldest son of Mrs. J. Home, Elfcham, and Ethel Agnes Atkinson, eldest daughter of Mrs- Scott, Bird road, Stratford. The bride wore a embroidered dress and the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and was given away by Mr Scott- Miss IC. Johnson was bridesmaid, and Mr. J. Home, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Bev. C. W. Howard performed the ceremony. The wedding party proceeded to Cramer's tea rooms, where breakfast was partaken of and the bride and bridegroom were the recipients of good wishes from a number of friends. They later left for the north by motor.-—Post.
