OTAGO DEFEATS CANTERBURY, By Telegraph.— Association. , Dunedin, Last Night. The Otago v. Canterbury match was concluded to-day. Tho home team won by seven wickets. Canterbury made JlO runs in their second innings, Fuller 31, Whitta 20, Blunt 13. Patrick tfeok sis wickets for 3(1 runs. Otago made 131 runs for tliree wick* eta in their second innings, Ailoo 45 noe out. HSlden 31 not out, Barron 27, Patrick 15. Blunt secured two wickets for 44, and Gray one for 43. AUCKLAND v. WELLINGTON. Wellington, Last Night. Owing to heavy rain this match wafc not resumed till lato in the afternoon. Auckland, with five wickets down for 86, were all dismissed for 25. Midland 22, Dacre 40, Smith not 21, were the chief scorers. For Wellington, Chawford took five for 47, Brice four for 40. fjiddleston one for 0. Having a lead of 202 on the first innings, Wellington sent Auckland in again, and when stumps were drawn Auckland had one wicket down for 6.
