CORRESPONDENCE.
SAMOA.
To the Editor. S' r , —lt is pleasing to read the unanimous motions passed at each representative gathering of people in this Dominion in reference to the above. We do not want the Germans in the Pacific at all or anywhere else for that matter, but. and I emphasise the "but." now is not the time for our two political leaders to go all the way to Kngland for this objection. Our High Commissioner can see to this backed up by the motions carried here. Parliament when it meets here' can have its voice, and English statesmen will note our feeling on the subject. • Let us win this war first, and talk and act re Samoa when Germans are beaten. Let our leaders get to work and tackle monopolies mid readjust a lot of things which they have let slide since war began. Let the people of this Dominion have loss political humbug and more capable administration, and leave Samoa to the Imp-—'l conference, which will be called directly peace is proelainif*': Dear me, I wish Dick Seddon were alive!—l am, et., D.J.H.
