PATRIOTIC WORK.
Mrs. Burgess is in receipt of the following letter from Palestine:—Please accept our Ipest thanks for the tin of butter wliicb arrived here last night. We sampled the butter for breakfast this morning, and it was declared by all hands to be the 'Teal thing." Occasionally we get an issue of butter, or, at least, a suggestion of an issue, but the little we do get can't hold . a candle to the New Zealand stuff as far as quality is concerned. So you can gee your gift was very welcome, especially at this time of the year, when the'butter is no worse for its lengthy jg-ip via England.
