LITHUANIA TO PAY l-'US FREEDOM. Received March 25, 10.55 p.m. Amsterdam, March 25. Berlin official: The Chancellor informed a deputation of the Lithuanian Provincial Council that German recognised Lithuania as a free and independent State, and expects Lithuania to pay its share of Germany's war expenditure.
