Four events were decided, two on c-aeh day, and with an average entry of 2S dogs in each event, it will bo seen that there were no idle moments between each round Oil Fridav evening Mr. O. But instead of being in jersey and knickers they ure in l-chaki. Teddy holds the position of QJ|.S,, and looks every inch a -soldier, whilst Lieut. Woods is still finding it difficult to dodge familiar faces and the world-wide query, ''When will tlie war ."ease:''
The sum of £3O was donated in various sur.ia in Stratford this afternoon for the fund now being opened in connection with the Ractilii fires. Easter is close at hand, and one wonders what to get for suitable gifts. There is nc need to worry. You can present your, soldier with the Ucan haircutter, tlie young lady with a bangle or wr'fitlet watch, the maid with a book, and the student with a fountain pen. Ti:e fretful child will .fret no morn with a toy, and tired mother will be pleased with some, of tlie Dqulton ware, and father will forget to growl if you pur- [ cha?o tobacco, pipes, or cigars from C. E. ■Tames, the man for the multitude.'*
