Convention te-day discussed some reports and parsed many resolutions, among them being the following: That an effort be made to raise £1001) for a Y.M.C.A. Hutment at the front. That Dr. Newman and othet' members be thanked for blocking the compulsory clauses of the Social Hygiene Bill. That the time has arrived when a man r.nd woman should produce a medical certificate before ,a marriage certificate wast issued. That a criminal offence i-.gainst girls of tender years should ibe oonsidered as : "'unnatnrar' as anotTence r.srainst boys. That two women should j be appointed to assist in the censorship !of einema films.
