By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The cyclone has now passed to south of Chatham Islands. Barometric pressi'rt has recovered and now stands at about norm.;! over the Dcminion. 'itrong t.outherly winds continue, with heavy along the east coast. "Rain fell in i. parts during the night, but the weather has improved to-day. Present indications are {,moderate to strong south-westerly winds, veering to west in and soutnward of Cook Strait, the veathei being cool and changeable. T'>e barometer has a rising tendency, especially in the north, bat is due to fall iigain shortly in the south.
