HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Hydro-electric power was the subject of discussion at the arniual meeting of the Industrial Corporation of New Zealand to-day. Mr. Joll (Auckland) formally moved: That this meeting of the New Zealand Industrial Corporation is of opinion that steps should be taken to urge the Government to do all in its power to bring all parts of the Dominion into line with Caiuerbury by developing a hydro-eleeirie scheme for power, lighting and heat. Mr. Ferguson, chairman of the Efficiency Board, suggested that the meeting should consult Mr. Parry, the Government expert. This course was adopted, and discussion was adjourned.
