KAWAROA PARK.

EASTER MONDAY PICNIC. The Kawaroa Park Beautifying Society announce full details of their programme for the monster seaside fete and picnic to be held at the park on Easter Monday. The programme includes spectacular ' displays by the Central, West Km! and Ur.ilii School children, who will give drills and fancy inarches. There will be high-wire artists and gymnasts, f-lrolling minstrels, tugs-of-war. clowns, • flny races, and a special artist who will give impersonations of Charlie ChanIra. There will be a galaxy of competitions such as filling the larder, roll the howl, chain-stepping, sheep-guessing, the etratic arrow, and also the latest thrilling sensation—the aerial glide. There '.v'H also be seen for the Jrst time in New Plymouth the competition known as skying the football. Races for boys ■•id girls will form a feature of the programme, and there will be stalls for aft(;'noon tea, fruit, lollies, soft drinks and miscellaneous goods. Ample free accommodation has been arranged for motor cars and other vehicles. Hot water and milk will be provided free. The Citizens' Band will be in attendance Admission will be: Adults Is, school children free.

At night a euchre party and dance will be held. Admission will be one shilling. The music will Tic provided by Miss Rita Sah\^
