MR. HAZELDON'S JUSTICE.
To the Editor. Sir,—The decision of out S.M. in the recent breaches of the Licensing Act are surely a travesty of justice. The offence of supplying was admitted practically by the defendants, and justice is blind. The boys are not absolutely sure who supplied them but they were supplied they are sure. "Put on your hats," "ays the S.M. Hats put on, pulled well down, and the boys stood up before the S.M. "One looks over 21," says he, "the other, 17} years old, would look about ?1 on a 'busy day."' Case dismissed, owing to the long train journey, less than two hours. The young man, says the S.M., ought to be well spanked. Why, if he looked over 21 years? "The judgment be on my own head," says the S.M. Why, ohce again?—l am, etc., JUSTICE.
