Singles—Nicholson 9v. Ryder 1; Blotam J v. Glover 2; Griffiths 5 v. Roekel 9; I'ookes 0 v. Bottrill 8; Davies 7 v. Wynyard 9; Boyd 9 v. Hine 2; Wilson 0 v Atkinson 8.
Doubles.—Nicholson and Bloxam 3 v. Ryder and Glover 5; Davies and Boyd 9 v. Wynvard and Hine 3; Griffiths and I'ookes 9 v. Bottrill and Roekel 6.' Totals: New Plymouth 84 games, •School Staff 53.
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS v. STAFF.
On Saturday morning, on the New Plymouth Club courts, a match was played between the boys and the staff oi the New Plymouth Boys' High School, and resulted in a wi n for the masters by 72 games to 34. Following are the scores, the masters being mentioned first in each case:
Singles.— Ryder 9 v. Hine 2; Glover 0 v. Atkinson 0; Roekel 9 v. Harrison 0; Bottrill 9 v. Christie 2; Wynvard 9 v. McKay 4; Moyes 4 v. O'Halloran 9. Doubles.—Ryder and Glover 9 v. Hine and Atkinson 5. Roekel and Bottrill 9 v. Harrison and Christie 3; Wynvard and 'Moyes 5 v. O'Halloran and McKay
