LAND SALE.

At the Mart, New Plymouth, on Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Newton King is offering several grazing properties over Mount Messenger, and he invites inspection of any of the four farms to be offered- The first property to be offered consists of 3180 acres, the well-known Te Kawau station at Tongaporutu, and right in the township. About 1430 acres of this property is in grass, the balance being grassed out, and to show its carrying capacity it wintered last year about •2000 sheep and over 200 head of cattle-

The second lot consists of two farms, one of 4000 acres and the other of 1775 acres, the first situated just beyond the Awakino township, known as Piri Piri, and the 1775 acres four miles further on. These two farms have been worked by the late Mr. E. T. Batley as one station, and are at present carrying 5750 sheep and 800 cattle. Owing to Mr. Batley's decease the executors are anxious to dispose of the property, and they have accordingly placed a very low upset on the property.

On the same afternoon there'will be offered the farm at Okau recently occupied by the late James Smith. This grazing run of 1262 acres has some good buildings, including a comfortable house, is well fenced and sub-divided, and should command much attention.

The sale will be held at the Mart, New Plymouth, on Wednesday afternoon nextj at 2 o'clock.
