WESTEALIAN PARLIAMENT. Perth, March 18. The Assembly read a second time Hills amending the Loan and Inscribed Stock Act, by raising maximum interest payable from 4 to 5% per cent., raising tie dividend duty from Is to Is 3d in the £, and authorising the Government to take fi per cent instead of 3% per cent, of the gross totalisator takings. N-.S.W. HOUSE ADJOURNED. Sydney, 'March 10. The State House has adjourned until March 20, after accepting the Council's minor amendments to the Arbitration Bill. ,
