EXPLOSIONS IN MUNITIONS DEPOT.

GREAT DAMAGE AND LOSS OF LIFE. Received March 17, 5.5 p.m. Paris, March 10.

Two terrific explosions, followed by fires, occurred at the munitions depot at St. Denis. Glass was shattered everywhere, and Bhop fronts demolished in scores. In the streets there was intense excitement, it being at first thought that German aeroplanes had reached the city without warning. At least thirty persons were killed, and many injured, though the wounds wore mostly slight. Luckily only a few were working in the factory at the time of the explosion. The building replaced one destroyed in the explosion of 1910'.
