BATLEY to sell by Auction at his Mart, Now Plymouth, on Wednesday, ihe, 20th. day of March, 1918, the following valuable properties: The well-known coastal property, "TE KAWAU," consisting of . 3180 ACRES moro or less ' together with 9-roomod homestead woolshed, 5-roomcd men's dwelling, and 8-stall stable. The whole fenced and subdivided into 20 sheep-proof paddocks. This property is situated on the sea coast about 49 miles from New Plymouth, and .1 miles from theTongaporutu wharf, Post Office, school and store. The Tongaporutu river is navigable foi small steamers for landing stores and for the shipment of wool and produce. The main North Road passes through the property, and there is a daily mail and passenger service by motor in summer and coach in winter. About 300 acres of the Estate has been ploughed and laid down in mixed English grasses, 75 acres in turnips and rape; the balance of the land consists of undulating nnd hilly country, about 1430 acres being in bush. Wintered about 2000' sheep and 200 head of cattle.
