Received March !•>, S-2 j p.m. London, March 11, Palestine official: The northward advance astride liie .lerusalein-Nablua road was continued through most difficult country and in face of the obstinate resistance of the enemy, who employed concealed machine-guns. We progressed for three thousand yards on a twelve miles front, securing the high ridges overlooking the north bank of the Wadi <iib, repulsing three counter-attacks, and consolidating a new line northward of the Wadi Anja. Aeroplanes, bombed and machine-gunned enemy troops and transport on the Nablus road. The operations continue. Received March 12, S p.m.. Palestine official j The advance northward was continued yesterday morning. \Vc crossed the Wadi Auja anil captured a strong Turkish position live miles westward of the Jordan, and advanced on either side of the Jerusalem-Nablus road on a front of thirteen.miles to an average depth of two to t'hree miles. We occupied Kefrmalik, Selwad, and Tclasur, eastward oi the road. We encountered a little opposition westward of the road.
