CENTRAL SCHOOL.
ADDITIONAL SWIMMING RESULTS. The following additional pupils of tho Central School have completed their swimming tests and are entitled to certificates according to the distances covered:— Certificate of merit (one mile or over). —Pearl Horsup 1 mile IGO yards, Ivy Doughty, Edna Wilson, and Sylvan Lealand one mile, t Proficiency certificates (220 yards up to one mile).—Mona Danks 1333 yards, Myrtle Bell lOOOyards, Olive Firth and Alarion Bennock 933, Charlie Coleman SOO, Molly Haldane and Henry Julian 466, Jessie Jenkins, Eileen Honeyfield and Madge Healy 400, Annie Scrivener, Kathleen Shaw and Francis Smith 333. Learners (100 yards or more).—M. Robertson, V. Woolridge and V. Hellyar 200 yards, Gwen Lendrum 133. The leaners include those who have accomplished the. art of swimming during the present season, and all who have done the hundred yards or more will receive the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association's certificate for the distance done. With two exceptions, all the boys of the sth and Gth Standard of the school can now swim.
