Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth,-as under: For Auckland and North, daily per train at (i.la a.m. For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborne, daily at fi.lo a.m. For Wellington and S- th, daily at 6.15 a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily at 0.15 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Opunako and intermediate offices per motor bus, daily at 6.15 a.m. Money-orders, registered letters and parcels, post parcel, closa one hour bofore the ordinary mail.
