AMENDMENT OF ACT ADVOCATED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waimatc, Last Night. The Waimatc Hospital Committee today discussed the menace disclosed by tV case'of a venereal victim who applied fo< admission to the institution. The committee passed a resolution asking tin Minister to have the Social Hygiene Acf amended, so as to provide for campul sory examination in suspected cages, the idea being similar" to the safeguards a, provided under the Lunacy Act.
