In an article in the Westminster Gazette on the subject of the Russo-German peace terms, the writer says:— "The situation again reveals the Prussian in his true colors. The Baltic Provinces and Ukraine, under one form or another, are to be the vassals of the Central Powers. "Polaiid becomes enslaved, and is helplessly at the disposal of the same Powers "The Turk is to be reinstated in Ar- „ menia, and given an opportunity of evtinguishing the remnant of the 'Chris. tian population which has survived the massacres. "For cynicism and callousness, the thing is without parallel, and if it stands it means an inexhaustible legacy of trouble, strife, and discontent for the world." The writer of the article proceeds to show the impassable gulf between the Allied Labor war aims and the Prussian aims, and points out that the Labor aims are in the present circumstances a renewed call to arms. "Greater forces are still on the side of the Allies, who control, apart from military forces, the whole world outside df Europe and can place their veto on the enenty'g commerce and his access to the sea, and force him to pay a ruinous priee for his aggressions in Europe. "It is our part to say that we will not sanction this aggression and dismemberment, and that we stake all our resources and all we control upon procuring a jnst civilised international system for the world.
