Lobb, Coldwell (8-), Taranaki winning by 2(1 to 15. In the second game against Ball, Chemson, Rowe, and Torrance the Taranaki four were defeated by 23 to 18, At tho Rotorua tournament A, K, Smart's rink did much better than was reported in the papers, winning 10 games and losing 4, whereas the report gave him S wins and 0 losses.
