Sweden has replied that she strongly objects to the eventual inclusion of Aalf and Islands in the sphere of war opeiac* tions, and emphasises that even the linn ited utilisation, according to German com ditions, might create difllculties in .the;' way of Sweden's humanitarian work of protection of the population of tha ° islands.
