BOWLING.

The championship singles in connection with the Stratford Club are well forward. In class C (colts) A. R. Masters, with six wins and nn lossc*, is the winner. Class B shows W. Franks holding a strong lead. In class A the players were placed in three sections, those successful being S. Sharp. E. Bickerton and R. McK. Morison. Last year the final was played between Morison and Sharp, the latter winning. Owing to the holiday, beyond the singles, there was jio bowling at Stratford on Thursday. The following will represent West End in a match against Fitzrov on tlie latters green this afternoon: Eurlstone, 3. H. Thompson, T. Sole, W. Oliver ( b.) ; Hodson, Ling, Tounsley, J. Sole (s>; Walsh, Moverley, Tichbon, F. Hill (s.); Crutch, .T. Thompson, Billings, Curtis (9).
