Baker and Co.'s Premise.;, Devon Street. As already notified, the subjects taught will be BOOK-KEEPING, SHORTHAND and TYPEWRITING. Each student's term commences on the day of enrolment, since there are no fixed »terms, and consequently no one student is handicapped through inability to commence his or her studies at the same time/as oilier students. The system of INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION will be adopted. Each student has a separate desk and his or her progress is known only to the instructor. It i»4' unnecessary to stress the advantages of this system over that of class instruction, where the progress of one student, who may be able to devote four or five hours' study per week to a subject, is regulated by the work of the class as a whole.
