Japan's determination to block Ihe re-establishment of Germans in the Pacific leads to the conclusion that strong action has already been initiated. JOINT MILITARY OPERATIONS. . TO SAVE WAR STORES AT VLADIVOSTOK. Reuter Service. Received March 1, 1.30 a.m. Washington, Feb. 27. Japan has directed enquiries to the Entivto niid United States regarding joint military operations in Siberia to save vast, quantities of war supplies stored at Vladivostok and along the .Siberian railroad. The -situation is regarded by Japan as warranting action mi her part, but she is willing for the co-opera tjon of the Allies and United States, to avoid the question of the ultimate disposition of the occupied territory in Siberia. A VAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT. Received Feb. 23, 8 p.m. Tokio, Feb. 27. It is announced tliat Japan will take drastic measures to cope with any detrimental results arising from a RussoGerman peace.
