.«. EASTER TOURNAMENT. The usual golf tournament will be held on the New Plymouth Golf Club'-- linkat Waiwakaiho during the coming Easter, The committee has already received intimations that a number of well-known players will compete. Proceedings will commence on March 30 with a 30-holc qualifying round for the Tarnnaki amateur championship. There will also be a team match and a medal handicap. T'i.i second and third rounds of the championship will be played on Easter Monday, and there will aljeo be a bogie hand'""',)) and a medal handicap for morning :>nii afternoon respectively. On Tnesd v morning the semi-finals of the championship will be played and the final in *hi. afternoon. On Tuesday morning thuM will be a bogie handicap, and in the afternoon there will be a pairs best ball bogie handicap. A gold button will be presented to the winner of the championship and the runner-up and winners of all other matches will receive silver buttons. There will also be the usual putting competitions. , .NumeroiH improvements have been made to (he coursa since the last tournament, and they will add greatly to the enjoyment of ;he competitors.
