ENTERTAINMENTS.

mt EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OPTIANDSOME GEORGE WALSH. IN "THE ISLAND OF DESIRE." George Walsh has never appeared to better advantage than in "The Island of Desire," the Fox feature screened for the first time to a full house at Everybody's last evening. All previous George Walsh pictures have been of the bright and vigorous order and the present picture is no exception. It is no exaggeration to say that the interest is held right from the first foot of the picture. There is action and excitement in every scene and no onlooker at the picture will be troubled with that dull, tired feeling some pictures cause. Walsh has been described as "Bundled up mass of chain lightning," and he lives up to that reputation in this film. It's a great picture, and shows for the Jast time to-night. TO-MORROW. ROBERT WARWICK IN "THE MAN WHO FORGOT." Robert Warwick is starred in "The Man Who .Forgot," a compelling drama Which heads Jhe bill at Everybody's tomorrow and Friday. The story is of a man who loses his memory, but succeeds in his new life. From an opium den he rises to a high place as a great speaker and leader. Anion;; spectacular scenes in the drama are some descriptive of the great Prohibition movement in America. THE EMPIRE. LAST NIGHT OF "THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTION." To-aiffri ,wSU *ee the final screening '#§ jUßtUre

of "The Russian Revolution" along with the 9th episode of "The Secret Kingdom," and a particularly humorous Keystone comedy "Oriental Love." TO-MORROW. ETHEL BARRYMORE IN "THE LIFTED VEIL" AND "THE PENDLETON ROUND UP." "The Pendleton Round-up, 1910-17," is being shown for the first time at the Empire to-morrow. This film abounds in sensational happenings which give some idea of the life of cowpunchers and others on the ranches of Western America. A further attraction is "The Lifted Veil," a dramatic masterpiece j with the popular Ethel Barrymore in the j lead. "The Lifted Veil" is a picture ;of unusual force. This double proi gramme should meet with considerable j approval.
